When we have a software need, we don't just write a program, we build a software system that solves a generic problem. Our software is tightly written, small and efficient. And very frequently we find it's way ahead of what other people are just thinking of doing.
We write our own software, and where we use other people's code we always negotiate a source-code licence. That way we're always in a position to upgrade, fix and adapt the software we supply - we don't depend on anonymous programmers half a world away. Our software is cross-platform, usually Windows and many flavours of Unix.
As you would expect, we have collections of mathematical and statistical software to support our psychometric activities, but we also have some unique software systems of our own.
